Our youngest children (ages 3 to rising kindergarteners) are invited to participate in a faith formation program that takes place DURING the 10:00AM Mass at Christ the King. This program offers the Liturgy of the Word for the preschoolers and religious eduation for the kindergarteners. Students should be dropped off at the beginning of Mass and will stay with their teachers until Mass is over.
Religious Education for students in kindergarten through 8th grade is offered after the 10:00AM Mass at Christ the King. Students should be dropped off at the Church building at Christ the King at 11:00AM for the Opening Session. Teachers will meet and greet their students in the church, and classes will run until 12:30PM.
On Sunday, September 21 there will be a parent meeting at 11:30AM in Christ the King Church.
High school students should check out our youth minstry program - Athens Catholic Teens (ACT) - which meets twice a month after the 6PM Mass. Follow ACT on Twitter: @ACTYouthGrp or join their Facebook group: Athens Catholic Teens. ACT meetings are held in the Hall at St. Paul Church. The next ACT meeting is on Sunday, September 21 after the 6PM Mass.
